This 'TRÚA' is a 'Stirling Silver' piece from the R E S I L I E N C E Range consisting of frosted Onyx and Snowflake Obsidian beads with Hematite spacers
Each piece is finished by hand, by me, oxidised and patina is applied individually so no two are the same. Each piece has slightly different casting marks making them as individual as you.
Trúa in Norse means faith/belief. It's all about believing in yourself, have failth in what you are capable of achieving
I set a topic to think about regarding resilience whilst working on each piece from the collection.
In this case it was it is the many meetings where I have had to stand alone and make often un-popular, but right calls for the wellbeing and protection of my team.

Black Frosted Onxy Beads

Awesome boxes and packaging are usually costed to the piece you buy and end up in a drawer or in the bin. So I decided to keep packaging simple, light and recyclable. So that you pay for what you actually wear.

Snowflake Obsidian
A speckled stone that provides balance for mind, body and spirit, Snowflake Obsidian helps you recognise and release "wrong thinking" and alleviate stress. Iron and other transition elements may give the obsidian a dark brown to black colour. The snowflake element comes from radially clustered crystals of cristobalite
Hematite
Hematite is believed to have strong healing power and also have the ability to serve as a protective cloak.
Used by prehistoric man for etching his ideas on the walls of caves.
Ground down It was smeared onto the faces of Native Americans and used as war paint. In its solid state, Hematite adorned the tombs of the pharaohs. As you can see the spanning history covers everything from art to elite status and the powers of protection.
Hematite comes from the depths of South Africa, Brazil. Quebec around the shores of Lake Superior. It can even be found in the snowy peaks of Switzerland.
It’s always been a stone that keeps the wearer well and truly grounded.
