Warrior’s Crucifix - Forged from Conflict. Cast with Purpose.

Each Warrior’s Crucifix is cast in solid brass using spent shell casings from the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, kindly supplied by Kim Hughes GC. These aren’t just materials — they’re stories. Stories of service, sacrifice, survival, and the quiet strength that follows.

Every crucifix is uniquely formed, with casting marks that speak to the rawness of their origin. No two are alike, and each carries its own sense of purpose – a symbol not just of faith, but of resilience, reflection, and personal journey.

Though I was raised Catholic, I no longer call myself religious. Yet I stand beside friends who draw strength from their beliefs. That duality lives in this piece — where past and present, belief and experience, all find their intersection.
