Introducing IMPERFECT & FORMIDABLE – HEAT, a limited release from HANG 6 that embodies the power of transformation.

At its center sits the unmistakable HANG 6 skull, cast from a blend of six different caliber cartridge cases. Six different origins, brought together and transformed into something with its own identity, character and purpose.

But these three pieces have another story to tell.

During heat treatment, the metal underwent a remarkable transformation, developing distinctive changes in colour and character. What emerged wasn't uniform, predictable or perfect.

It was something far more interesting.

Each skull developed its own unique appearance, shaped by its response to the heat. No two are exactly alike.

And therein lies the message.

Each piece features the signature HANG 6 skull, created from six different calibers of spent cartridge brass, complemented by rugged black lava stone beads and contrasting metallic accents.

The distinctive heat-treated finish gives each skull its own individual character, making every one of these three pieces genuinely unique.

Only three exist in this release.

Not because perfection was achieved.

But because something extraordinary happened when perfection stopped being the objective.

I'm not sure what happened with these, I tried to purposefully replicate the colouring and failed.

These have had a sealant applied to the face to lock in that colour for as long as possible, will that last forever? Unlikely, as the next transformation awaits.
